I have talked a lot about blogging in my previous posts under “Blogging” category. If now you have your own blog, perhaps you understand the world of business blogging. However, one has to know how to write a successful blog with keywords to allow the posts to be ranked on search engines.

Many bloggers in the market today fail to bring their posts up on a higher rank on search engine. There are approximately 60% of businesses have blogs trying to engage their customers or readers.

However, more than 60% of the blog owners have not updated the blogs in the past year. One has to keep writing and adding content to your blog so that the search engines recognize that the website is still active and alive. Well, let me give you some tips to get your posts visible on search engines by creating a successful blog with keywords.

Keyword research is essential and you may have accidentally included keywords without realizing it in the content of your post.

Utilization of Keywords

Once you found the suitable keywords, then use them throughout your post. It is essential to place the keywords where they have most impacts to readers and search engine crawlers indexing the content. Of course, we do not simply insert the keywords everywhere but in the following places in your post:

  • Title
  • Title tags and meta descriptions
  • Body Content
  • Heading and subheadings
  • Introductory sentence
  • Images

Keywords in Headings and Subheadings

Normally headings separate paragraphs in a blog and it is very useful from SEO point of view. It is therefore extremely good to have as many headings on a post as possible.

There is no fix rule on the length limits for the contents of <h1>, <h2>, <h3> tags but it is not advisable to have a long headings that is not readable for readers.

Keywords in Image

Whenever an image is uploaded to your blog, be sure to rename your image file name to your keywords. You are recommended to fill out the alternate text field with keyword rich description of the photo.

    Excellent reminder about keywords and SEO. Well done, and so easy and appealing to read. I keep forgetting about keywords unless I am specifically addressing something to do with google.

    I must remember to address that right now as I organise my next newsletter. Thank u for reminding me. U see, my main point here is that no matter how well any issere ue is taken care of, there is always room for people li ke u to polish things up and present
