How to Get Traffic to Your Website Fast

Do you want to know How to Get Traffic to Your Website Fast? I am going to share my experience with you on boosting traffic to my website in this post. It is solely based on my trial-and-error methodology and I have found the key.

I previously posted an article on How to Get Traffic to My Website to let the readers know that bloggers speak about SEO a lot, but they forgot the fundamental when they run their online business –  the need of the customers (Readers). This post is basically a continuation of that article.

I talked about” Marketing in the first post, and I briefly talked about the usage of social media to market your niches and get traffic to your sites faster than ever. In this post, I am going to share my experience and trick that I found to boost traffic to my site – Social Media.

How to Get Traffic to Your Website Fast 21

Currently, more than 90% of companies use social media to promote their business. I know some of us are not a big fan of social media. It is unavoidable when it comes to online business. Social media is almost essential and it is only growing bigger over time. If you are not marketing your site via Social Media, you are actually missing a significant amount of target audience.

So far, I have only signed  up a Twitter account to market my site. With that only Twitter account, I managed to boost the traffic and it is now maintained at 1500 sessions per week, that is equivalent to 200 sessions per day. I think this is a lot of a new site like mine.

Timing

I know almost every one of us here owns a Twitter account. If you have one, make use of it. If you haven’t, sign up to get one.

a. I tweet only twice daily and I tweet at the best time of the day. Research has discovered that the early morning hours appear to be the time when tweets received the most clicks.

b. Most of the people tweet during mid-day, that simply means window between 11 am to 1 pm is peak hour. It is difficult for your tweet to be seen due to this high volume of tweets appearing during this window.

From above findings, I normally tweet at 2 am and 3 am to earn more clicks when everybody wakes up in the morning. I have also tried to send tweet around 7 pm or 8 pm but the outcome was not as good as when I tweet in the middle of the night. This is my way of maximizing the chance to get more clicks to my website.

When I was trying out sending tweets at 7 pm and 8 pm, I discovered that not many people visit my website, but I earned a lot of retweets and favorites. It is funny to know that retweet and favorites do not attract visitors (at least for me case).

Every tweet represents a chance to show your existence and strengthen the relationship with your followers. Research also shows that Tweets with images get more engagement because you could put more characters on the images than in the tweet box and the graphic effect is always more powerful than a line of texts.

It is essential to enlarge your font size on the images and keep it clear. You have to remember that most of the internet users are on mobile. One of my tweets is illustrated below. It does not need to be fancy and it can be as simple as the one below.

Quotes

It is recommended not to over promote your sites. Sometimes it is okay to include quotes as it gives a big impact in tweets. Quotes and photos that are perfectly aligned with your niche will definitely help. Tweets with numbers, video URL and hashtags also will help you to gain more Clicks.

Tool

I guess some of you were surprised when I said I tweet at 2 am and 3 am. It is possible to do that by scheduling your tweets and you do not need to be physically awake and tweet at the right time.

I use Crowdfire to schedule my tweets. You could sign up the account for free and it allows you to configure up to two Twitter accounts. It allows you to schedule posts for Instagram as well.

That was a great article, Alex. I am one who hates social media sites like Facebook. I know they can generate traffic, but I’m kind of antisocial I guess. I do have a Google+ page, but that does not seem to be generating much flow, at least yet. I think your article has just motivated me to sign up on twitter and give that a go. I am amazed at how much your traffic increased with that addition. Thanks, cass.

      Hi Cass,

Thanks for giving the article a read. I was not a big fan of Social Media until I was advised by one of the most powerful bloggers that it is an essential tool. Twitter works very well to me so far and it has proven very promising traffic to the site so far. I would recommend you to go for it and try it out.
Let me know if you have any further questions in future.

      Regards,
      Alex
