DollarCell Review - Is DollarCell Legitimate or a Scam.

If you’ve been researching ways to make money at home, you may have stumbled across DollarCell that claims it is a job and online part time working website, where you can create your account and work with them with the specific tasks. The question is, is this company offering legitimate positions that actually pay, or will you just be wasting your time?

DollarCell pays people to promote your referral link. Your referral link is a personal link that they provide you with when you sign up for the DollarCell program.

Whenever a person clicks through your referral link, you are paid $5 – $10 in your DollarCell account. On the official page, it claims that you will be invited to complete some small tasks that allow you to earn some cash. These tasks normally take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

That means there is no fixed time for any particular job, you can work any hours of the day and from any country. You will be paid for your tasks on their completion via cheque or many other payments methods like bank transfers etc.

The overview of how the system works does sound sensible and realistic. It works like Swagbucks and Zoombucks, where you earn cash by watching trailers, playing games and complete online surveys.

However, it turned me off when I saw a tagline saying “We guarantee you that you will earn 1500$ in your first week by simple task of 5 – 10 minute”. As I have tried a few online survey panels before, the tagline sounds too good to be true.

Is DollarCell Legitimate?

Well, you can actually make money taking online surveys – BUT it is not anything like they claim. I am not sure where they get their numbers but the reality you can expect to get paid somewhere in the ballpark of $1 to $4 for an entire hour of your time (and $4 would be on the high end). But that isn’t the entire story either.

Can you really earn $1,500 in the first week? I don’t think so. Even if you can make that much of money, those numbers are just imaginary. The reason being there is no real job offer.

Even if it is a legitimate survey panel, funny enough, you are required to accumulate $300 before you could cash out the money. If you have read some of my reviews of legitimate survey panels, $300 is a ridiculous number.

But I can earn $25 just by signing up an account

I know, I tried that and I do get $25 credited to my account, but you still need to accumulate $300 to cash out your rewards. One thing is DollarCell is not paying, and again hasn’t paid anyone (yet), you would only be wasting your time promoting your referral links and earn nothing in return.

New Site and Unknown Identity

DollarCell is very new and looking at the date of registry, it was registered on 2016-01-14 and expiring in one year time (2017-01-14). A legitimate company wouldn’t register a domain for just a year if they are planning to go for a long-term business plan.

I have tried to search for that name of the registrar on the internet and nothing shows up. This is a clear warning that the scammer does not want to reveal his or her real identity to avoid detection.

I am not a fan of these work-from-home programs that overpromise high rewards. It is very rare that I recommend them because there are some things you need to know before you dive into this and throwing your hard earned money around. Even if it is free, you may be asked to pay some upfront in order to proceed with the “tasks”.

Fraudsters like DollarCell spends a lot of time trying to convince people that extremely high rewards are “guaranteed” or “can’t miss.” They try to plant an image in your head of what your life will be like when you are rich.

Don’t ever believe it.

Based on my observation, it is very clear that DollarCell is a scam.

Why do people keep joining knowing that they are scams?

All these programs are aimed at people who want to get rich quick and do not want to take the tried & tested route of – hard work = success.

Most people want to make lots of money quickly and the legal options are often very limited (e.g. Lottery). When a product promises to give you exorbitant returns, people tend to believe it due to our greed.

However, most of the people end up losing their savings and hard-earned money.

I wrote an article on How to Make Money Online Without Being Scammed. This should serve as a reference when you look for a legitimate program on the internet.

Final Word

I don’t like the reliance on any survey panels in order to make money. Instead, I do affiliate marketing (it’s different) and rely 100% on myself to build an income online. If you are interested in alternative ways to generate a real passive income online, you might want to consider running your own legitimate online business.

One powerful way to do this is through an approach called affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing lets you earn money by promoting products from other companies. Any product you promote is going to be based on your opinion, and you are not required to stick with just one company.
